Indian Navy Vacancies Notification 2019: Male Candidates for Sailor Posts

The Indian Navy is inviting online applications for Sailor Posts that come under the Matric Recruit (Musician) ones. Male candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply. Also, the dates for preliminary screening are from 6-10 July 2019. More so, the final screening dates are scheduled from 3rd to 6th September 2019.

Salary:
Initially, the recruits will be paid stipend of Rs 14,600 per month. Then, after successfully completing the preliminary training, their pay scale will be Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (amounting from Rs 21,700 to 69,100). Additionally, they will receive MSP of Rs 5200 on a monthly basis, plus Dearness Allowance (as specified).

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant has to pass Matriculation Exam from Boards that are recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the Union Government of India.

Age Limit:
The eligible male candidates are those who have been born between 1st October 1994 to 30th September 2002. There is no age relaxation.

Selection Procedure:
The preliminary and final screening rounds constitute the selection procedure. During the first phase, the candidate’s assessment will be on the basis of music certificates, educational qualification, age group, and music ability. Thereafter, the shortlisted candidates have to undergo medical and fitness tests. Then, depending on the overall performance of the candidates, the selection process will ensue further.
