The Border Security Force (BSF), of the Government of India, is inviting applications for the posts of Head Constables under Group C. The eligible male and female candidates are encouraged to apply. Also, they should submit their applications before the given deadline that is 12th June 2019.
The aspirants can register online from 14th April 2019 to 12th June 2019. To apply online, the candidates have to visit the official website, bsf.nic.in.
During this recruitment drive, the authorities are seeking to fill a total of 1072 vacancies. These include 300 posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) and 772 posts for Head Constable (Radio Mechanic). The recruitments are on temporary basis and, later on, will become permanent basis.
Note that only online applications will be entertained.
Scale of Pay
Head Constable (Radio Operator): Level 4 as per the Pay Matrix
Head Constable (Radio Mechanic): ₹ 25,500 – 81,000 (according to 7th CPC)
Eligibility Norms for the Head Constable Positions
Educational Qualification: The applicant has to clear Matriculation or the 12th standard exam (or equivalent) from a recognized Board or University. Also, they should secure a 2-year Industrial Training Institute Certificate (ITI) in any discipline.
Age Criteria: The aspirant has to be between the age of 18-25 years when applying. For the reserved sections, there is age relaxation as per the Government rules.
Admission Procedure: The authorities will conduct a descriptive test, medical exam, physical examination, and written test. Then, the shortlisted candidates will be informed about the subsequent course of action.
Application Fee: The general category and OBC candidates have to tender application fee that is 100 Rupees. For female and SC/ST candidates, there is no fee.
